Accommodation

West Iceland offers various accommodation options in 68 locations, 16 hotels are available and 16 farm accommodation locations, as well as four youth hostels. 

In recent years a major effort has been made in developing camping sites, as a result 19 camping areas are now available in West Iceland, many of which have excellent facilities, especially for families.

Numerous hotels and other overnight accommodation is available all year round so there is nothing to prevent the traveller from enjoying good times in West Iceland during the winter when the area is clothed in its winter regalia.
