Reykholt Chamber Music Festival

Reykholt Chamber Music Festival is one of the very oldest and respected music festivals in Iceland. The festival always takes place during the last weekend in June in Reykholt, Borgarfirði. The festival was first held in 1997. 

The festival's theme is classical music in historical scenery. The festival emphasizes on professionality and quality in all areas of its schedule and performances. During the years many great artists, both local and from abroad, have made an appearance on Reykholt Chamber Music Festival.
