Want to get to know the Icelandic horse? The Visiting HorseFarm at Sturlu-Reykir (route 518) is a good place to do so. It specializes in welcoming those who just want to meet this world-famous breed in a friendly environment. Visiting HorseFarm is run by the couple Hrafnhildur and Jóhannes who have been practicing horsemanship all their lives in Borgarfjörður. They offer luxury Horse Rides, Stablevisit, Natural Hotspring and homebaked Ryebred, Coffee, hot Chokolate and Wc.
