Hlaðan Restaurant Hlaðan restaurant is open from April 1st to end of October. For big groups we can make a special opening any time of the year up on request.  Hlaðan is great venu for all kinds of events, such as conferences, courses, weddings, private parties for companies, families, friends and more.  In November and December we serve a christmas buffet.  Find information about opening hours, menus, special events and more at our website. 

Restaurant Narfeyrarstofa is located in the oldest part of the small town Stykkishólmur by the Breiðafjörður Bay. The restaurant opened in the year 2000 and has developed an interesting local food menu including fresh fish, lamb and blue mussels from the area, since then. Dedicated cooperation amongst the locals over the years has established its reputation as a first-class restaurant. The quaint exterior and warm, bright interior create a unique atmosphere. Mural Restaurant & Bar is situated within Adventure Hotel Hellissandur. They specialize in serving diverse cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients and provide excellent service. Operating hours are from 17:00-22:00 daily, year-round, with a breakfast buffet available from 07:00 each morning. Krauma Restaurant serves Icelandic cuisine from the freshest local farm produced ingredients. Relax in the comfortable environment of the restaurant while enjoying the spectacular view of Europe's most powerful hot spring.  The bar offers a wide selection of drinks and snacks and is well suited to relax and unwind at the end of the day. The restaurant and bar are open all year round and can seat 70 guests inside and another 60 outside on the terrace if weather permits. See the menu here.  

Hjá Góðu fólki is a small café and art house. We work with produce from Snæfellsnes and salad, herbs and flowers from the greenhouses at Ræktunarstöðin Lágafell. The nursery (ræktunarstöðin) cultivates ecologically grown salads and herbs, using geothermal energy from the local area. We have put a lot of work into making our little house warm and cosy and welcome all who visit with speciality coffee and home-made food and pastries. 

A Restaurant, café and giftshop at Hraunfossar Waterfalls.  We bid you welcome and offer a buffet with a good choice of courses. Enjoy our coffee, cakes and sandwiches, hot and cold drinks as well as ice-cream. The old building Bjargarsteinn was built as a home at Vesturgata 64 in Akranes in the year 1908. It served this purpose until 2008, when the church bought the house to use the land for a car park. The company S.Ó. Húsbyggingar took on Bjargarsteinn and transported it from Akranes to Borgarnes, where the house was rebuilt. The current owners came across the little house where it stood ready for relocation with a “for sale” sign on it, and it occurred to them that it would serve well as a little restaurant. The dream was to find a plot of land with exceptional views for Bjargarsteinn, and they found that by the coastal ridge in the seaside village of Grundarfjörður. The plot had previously had an old bait shack and a fish-drying shed on it. The ground was broken in October 2014, and in beautiful weather on 7 December the same year, Bjargarsteinn was brought to its new location. The buildings were renovated and extended. Bjargarsteinn House of Food opened it doors for business on 31 July 2015.

Stapinn is a family run restaurant in Arnarstapi Snæfellsnes.  Great hikes around, short distance from Snæfellsjökull, beautiful hike between Arnarstapi and Hellnar. 

Rock ´n´ Troll Bistro Café Rock ´n´ Troll Bistro Café is open all year around. The menu offers a mix of local and international food during, breakfast, dinner and coffee refreshments in between. Lunch is only available during main season. As the name indicates music and trolls play important roles in the restaurant as it features a big vinyl record collection and troll books written by the owner and troll illustrations on the walls. In addition, the restaurant offers a unique location with view over the Troll Waterfalls.

Sker Restaurant is a restaurant located in the heart of Ólafsvík in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The restaurant is cozy and has amazing views.  Sker has a varied menu and only the best ingredients are prepared at any given time. 

Seljaland Restaurant is located in a peaceful farm in Dalir Region, right by the end of road nr. 581.  The Restaurant is run by a chef and can seat up to 25 people.  Advance reservations are required.

Gilbakki is a cute cafe/bistro in one of the most beautiful house in Hellissandur. At Gilbakki we offer quality fish-soup and bread, coffee from the Icelandic coffee roster Kaffitár and homemade cakes.  Open from June 1st 11:00-17:00, seven days a week. 

In the old part of Borgarnes town (village) lies a beautiful cove, called "Englendingavík". The name interestingly enough means "The Englishman Cove (or Bay)". This place is both scenic  and peaceful,  where silence is only broken by the sound of birds and the ever changing sea. The old buildings standing at the bottom of the cove used to be the region´s center for trade and commerce but now they are housing the restaurant with attached lodging facilities. Besides the restaurant is a separate building called Sjávarborg "Height by the Sea", offering first rate home lodgings. The oldest building was constructed in 1885 but all the buildings were thoroughly renovated 10 years ago. The Englendingavík RestaurantWe put our emphasis on a relaxed and cozy atmosphere to go with the spirit of the old buildings by the Bay. As for food, we focus on Icelandic fish.   Opening hours summer 2021, daily from 13:00 to 21:00.  The restaurant has a one-of-a-kind view towards the sea, with its islands and rocks, teaming with bird life, as well as the occasional curious seal. The terrace extending south of the restaurant gives a good shelter from the north and north-eastern breeze. It is a real treat to sit there in the sun enjoying good food and drinks in a good company. The Sjávarborg home lodging facilitiesStanding close by the sea, Sjávarborg is a typically Icelandic corrugated iron building, dating from 1890. We offer comfortable lodgings, ranging from large family rooms, sleeping up to four people, and a variety of double rooms. All include full size beds with linen and a shared bathrooms. Guests at Sjávarborg have access to a fully equipped kitchen for your own cooking and a common room and of course free Wi-Fi. Breakfast trays can be ordered separately. We kindly request our  guests to keep in mind that Sjávarborg is an old building with a soul. This includes creaking floor-boards and therefore due consideration is necessary.  The reward is a really good nights sleep, and that extra relaxing feel that only old wooden building have.

Arnarbær Restaurant offers you the best local food from West Iceland. You will enjoy the best quality seafood and different flavors of pizzas.  Open during high season, May - September from 12:00 to 22:00. Location: You will find us besides the camping site.

A seasonal Contemporary American menu utilizing locally sourced ingredients. Snjófell Restaurant offers quality local food from the sourroundings of Snæfellsnes peninsula. Snjófell's purpose is for you to enjoy the food in the breathtaking environment of Arnarstapi. Snjófell can seat up to 80 people and our kitchen is open from 11:30 to 19:30. At Nes Brasserie, our hotel restaurant, we can host all kinds of groups, small up to very large groups for dinner, lunch, happy hour, breakfast, etc. We offer group menus, we use as much local ingredients as we can for our cuisine. Menu 

Langaholt is an ambitious fish restaurant with primary focus on local material from the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. All our fish is provided by our friends, the fishermen in the area. At Langaholt we are known for our unique and fun approach using local ingredients, followed by great reviews and praise. Local fish and seafood are our specialities. Only a few places have as rich and generous fishing grounds as the settlement at Snæfellsjökull. Our fish is provided by our friends, the fishermen in the area.  The fish we serve is the catch of the day which the local fishermen bring to shore at Snæfellsnes.

In two of Borgarnes's oldest buildings The Settlement Center is devoted to recreating Iceland's earliest days and introduces visitors to one of the best known heroes of the Icelandic Sagas, Egill Skalla-Grímsson. It also houses a cozy licensed restaurant, a café and a souvenir shop. The Center consists of three buildings, the warehouse, the merchant house and the reception hall.  Family friendly resraurant. Our new “hobbit camping houses” welcome you. They are warmed up with geothermal heat from our hot spring. Ideal for Icelandic weather that can be stormy, cold and wet.  Rooms There are five x double rooms for rent that have a shared kitchen, bathroom, living room with TV and a porch with hot tub and then there is a garden. There is also one triple room with private bathroom. Apartment An apartment 42 sqm of size with a living room with double sofa bed, bath with shower and a kitchen, two bedrooms with two single beds in each room, sleeping four persons. Hot tub and Swimming Pool A private hot-tub is available to room renters and the local swimming pool is only a 2 minute walk away.

Galito Restaurant offers a wide variety of courses from the á la carte menu and group menus.  Open Mondays-Thursdays from 11:30-21:00, Fridays from 11:30-22:00, Saturdays from 12:00-22:00 and Sundays from 17:00-21:00.

Efra Nes is an ideal location for events and gatherings, big or small. 

Dalahotel is a family owned hotel located in a beautiful, quiet valley, only 1 km from highway 60. The place is famous for its antiguity, Guðrún Ósvífursdóttir lived there, who was one of the main characters in Icelander's Sagas. The hotel is located at the foot of a mountain where you can enjoy untouched nature with a number of hiking trails suitable for everyone.
