Iceland has many fine hotels ranging in price and quality allowing travelers to make a
suitable choice.

Hraunsnef country hotel
The hotel consists of 15 rooms. Five rooms on the ground floor and ten on the second floor. The second floor rooms have a view over the valley from every window, and the first floor rooms have a private patio. The rooms have the names of gods from norse mythology and are decorated in different styles. The rooms all have the same equipment: seperate entrance, bathroom with shower, hair dryer and hair straightner, bathrobe and slippers, television. Cabins: we offer comfortable accommodations for tired and weary backpack travellers to lay out their sleeping bags in a cabin with private facilities and cooking facilities where you can cook yourself or enjoy a meal in our restaurant. The cottages can be rented with or without sheets. Hot tubs: our two hot tubs, that were made by owner are filled with natural spring hot water from mountains above. They are not only soothing and relaxing after a long trip, but also fun place for the whole family. Tubs are situated just few steps from rooms. For your comfort, bathrobes are provided in the room and in the reception you can ask for slippers. Animals: in our farm we have all kind of animals, which are mostly friendly and like to be petted. They don't hesitate to be a part of your picture or selfie. Sometimes you can meet them even in front of your room or restaurant. Especially during the lamb season, we are proud to take lambs, who lost their mothers from all farms in our neighbourhood . So you can try and enjoy the real experience of feeding them. Restaurant is open all year round. Open daily from 12-21.
Rjúkandi Hotel, Café & Restaurant
Hotel Rjúkandi offers 14 rooms. Each of them is sound proofed with soft lighting, Internet and Wi-FI , hairdryer, kettle, desk, chairs. All bathrooms feature a shower, WC and sliding doors. Lay back on Scandinavian designed bed, draw back the curtains and take in the spectacular views of the fairways and greens of the surrounding. Throw open the window and enjoy the breeze that blows down from the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Hotel Rjúkandi offers free Internet, along with hiking, horse riding and glacier tours with companies in the area. Private bathrooms and mountain views are standard room features. Hotel’s restaurant serves traditional Icelandic dinners with organic ingredients, wines and beers. Rjúkandi Kaffi - Restaurant & Café - Rjúkandi Kaffi offers great coffee, homemade cakes and a café menu for hungry travellers. Rjúkandi Restaurant offers local cuisine with the best and fresh ingredients from mother nature, depending on what each month provides. The restaurant is open 15th May - 15th September, daily from 10:00 to 22:00 and 16th May - 14th September, daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Snæfellsjökull National Park Visitor Centre in Snaefellsnes is 58 Km from Rjúkandi. Visitors are given an opportunity to touch and experience various things, such walking in the footsteps of ancient Icelanders by trying on ancient leather shoes and walking over lava just as they would have done. Rjúkandi is only one and half hour driving from Reykjavík. We are in the middle of Snæfellsnes peninsula and just 32 Km to Stykkishólmur, 38 Km to Grundarfjörður, 57 Km to Ólafsvík, 35 Km to Búðir, 54 Km to Arnarstapi and 58 Km to Hellnar.
Hótel Egilsen
Standing over the harbor, Hotel Egilsen is set in a newly converted historic house in the heart of Stykkisholmur. The small hotel preserves its classic heritage while enhancing it with the best of modern design. Providing intimate lodging, healthy kitchen, small library, honesty bar and possibly the best beds in the world. The guest lounge: is the heartbeat of the place, traditional hospitality with intimate lounge, healthy kitchen, local literature and good times. Around 3 o´clock warm waffles or blueberry pies are served with ice-cream from the local farm Erpsstaðir. For dinner a constantly changing menu is served with locally sourced meats, often cooked by local gourmets.  
Hotel Fransiskus
The hotel offers 21 rooms, single, double and family rooms. The rooms have been beautifully designed with soft colours and a cosy atmosphere. Each room has been furnished with all the latest amenities and have magnificent view, over harbour, the centre of the town, the mountains and towards the magnificent bay Breiðafjörður.   The Fransiskus house was once a Catholic monastery and there is still a chapel inside the Fransiskus hotel which is open up to everybody to visit. You might even meet our sisters of St. Mary´s who pray every day in the chapel.
Hotel Laxarbakki

Only an hour drive (96km) from the national airport Laxárbakki is very well located for a day trips around west Iceland. A friendly hotel with beautiful villas in the Glymur Village. We are situated just a short drive from Reykjavík in a spectacular view over Whale fjord. Kirkjufell Hotel
Kirkjufell Hotel is a waterfront hotel situated in the small fishing village Grundarfjörður. Nýp at Skarðsströnd
Welcome to Guesthouse Nýp! B&B, twin or double, full bedding. Our guesthouse is off the beaten track with fantastic scenery across the Breiðafjörður bay and a view to the Vestfjords. Two guest rooms with shared bathroom facilities plus three rooms, each with a private bathroom. All rooms include chosen books and original art. Breakfast available with home baked bread, jam of wild berries and vegetables from our own gardens. Recently we opened new guest rooms and an exhibition space in the former cowshed, attached to the house. The refurbishment is designed by Studio Bua Architects. The first exhibition displays drawings, photos and models concerning the new design. As souvenirs for our guests, we have selected local handcraft for sale. In 1937 concrete housing was built at the sheep farm Nýp to replace the traditional turf houses. Hótel Á is an old farm refurbished as a restaurant and guesthouse, located between Reykholt and Húsafell. Our guests eat in a cow-shed and sleep in a barn. All 15 rooms have private facilities.
